About Dr. McNabb
I am a board-certified psychiatrist offering mental health treatment to adult patients in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia. My practice is based in Mount Pleasant, SC where I see patients in-person, and I am able to provide telehealth treatment to patients in NC, VA, or outside the Charleston area. I completed my undergraduate education at Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC and went on to earn my M.D. degree from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) College of Medicine. I completed my psychiatric internship, residency, and forensic psychiatry fellowship training at MUSC.
I am a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and hold board certifications in general adult psychiatry and forensic psychiatry. I maintain memberships in the American Psychiatric Association (APA), South Carolina Psychiatric Association (SCPA), American Medical Association (AMA), American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law (AAPL), and Association of LGBTQ+ Psychiatrists (AGLP). I am on the faculty at MUSC as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, where I assist in the treatment of patients hospitalized at the Institute of Psychiatry and participate in the training and education of resident physicians and medical students. I live in Charleston, SC with my husband, our Boston Terrier, and our two cats.
